Melco Crown Entertainment, developer and operator of the world-renowned City of Dreams, revealed more details about their newest luxury resort, Studio City, which is set to open in the second quarter of 2015.

Melco's fifth resort in Macau will include never-seen-before attractions for both children and adults, including a huge playground that is themed after Warner Bros. and DC superhero icons.

The Batman Dark Flight will be one of Studio City's biggest attractions. The world's first Batman film franchise promises to deliver an exciting and pulse-racing adventure in a 4D action-packed motion ride, giving guests the opportunity to feel what it's like to glide from one building to another while bringing in some of The Dark Knight's fiercest enemies to justice.

Studio City's 30,000 sq. ft. Family Entertainment Center is filled with Looney Tunes characters as well as other superheroes from the DC Comics' world. Guests can drive go karts using Superman-themed cars or go on a haunted ride while sitting on cute cars inspired by Hanna-Barbera characters. The Family Entertainment Center is also packed with restaurants, shopping kiosks, and cinemas that feature classic animated programs for those who want to take a trip down memory lane.

For adults, Studio City will have the Pacha – an international nightclub franchise based in the entertainment island of Ibiza, Spain. The nightclub is well known for specializing in house music, and hires only elite resident DJs such as David Guetta, Bob Sinclair, and Benny Benassi.

Studio City will also house an attraction called "The House of Magic" where guests will experience live magical shows that are designed and hosted by world-famous illusionist Franz Harary. The House of Magic's programs promise an impressive array of mind-bending acts including Harary's signature performance called "Mega Magic."

In order to endorse the new Studio City, Melco Crown hired Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert Deniro to promote the place through a commercial. The same scheme was done by the casino operator to publicize its recently-opened resort and casino in the Philippines.

The Wynn, The Venetian and The Grand Lisboa, which has superior architecture and a cultural landmark according to information website Mayfair Casinos, are currently three of the most popular gaming establishments in Macau. When Studio City opens, however, pundits are confident that it will quickly place itself among the star establishments and become a preferred spot especially by tourists who are travelling with youngsters.
