THE RITZ-CARLTON, HONG KONG INTRODUCES A STRAWBERRY CHOCOLATE FANTASYDETERGENT

Here is more good news from Far East for everyone with a sweet tooth. Starting September 1, 2015, The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong presents a Strawberry Chocolate Fantasy at Café 103. For one month only, a delectable selection of strawberry and chocolate treats will be served on Café 103's signature bookshelf tea stand on weekdays, whereas for an ultimate indulgence, a dazzling spread of tea buffet items will be available on weekends.

The delightful chocolate and strawberry tea menu designed by Richard Long, Executive Pastry Chef at The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong and his team comprises of mouthwatering pastries and cakes. "The sweetness of chocolates is a perfect complement to the fruitiness of strawberries, making this lovable duo an all-time favorite for any palates", said Chef Richard. "Exquisite and delicate, these enticing pastries do not only tempt the taste buds, but are also a feast for the eyes". Specialties in the tea set include Strawberry Choux, a puff filled with a rich layer of ivory white chocolate cream and fresh strawberry dices for a balanced flavor. Not to be missed is Richard's personal favorite – Strawberry Basil Pave, a creamy yet light cake with a hint of minty aroma coming from the strawberry basil cream.

They also have a special that you don't often see during afternoon teas – a live cooking station that prepares one of Hong Kong's most iconic snacks – Chinese Egg Puff. The Belgium waffle inspired pastry consists of strawberry-flavored egg puff served with guests' choice of toppings ranging from ice-cream to seasonal fruits. Pricing for the Strawberry Chocolate Fantasy on weekdays is set at HK$368 for one and HK$598 for two. While the Afternoon Tea Buffet on weekends are priced at HK$368 per adult and HK$268.
